Default Missed with overcards

2 hands from Party 2/4, 8 or so players.

First orbit I open raise AKo UTG+1. UTG+2 3 bets. I haven't seen him raise PF in the last 6 hands or so (:. Everyone else folds, I cap, heads up. Flop is 9 high rags, I bet, he raises I call. Turn is a Q, I check fold.

An orbit later I have AJo in the BB. Folded to SB who completes, I raise, he calls. Flop is 9 6 3r. He checks, I bet he calls. Turn is a T, He bets, I call. River a 3, he bets I call.

What's the best way to play hands like these?

Hand 1 you should not cap preflop headsup OOP with AK. After that you should probably check/call the whole way unless you hit.

Hand 2 is played well. Ace high has showdown value in a SB vs. BB battle, so call his bets.

1st hand, I just call his reraise. Check-call, bet turn, fold to a raise, check-fold river unimproved if he bets. He will raise turn with AQ or better, but will call down with pair. I bet the turn in hopes he will fold some underpairs sometimes, or AK.
