Default Attacking the blinds?

SB is a LAG, BB is unknown: 5-10 B&M

calls

FLOP: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls

TURN: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

This hand was well-played.

I originally thought you missed a river value bet but there is just so little out there on the board that might call that you are beating that, against two players, I like a check. I expect you will be ahead very often here, but I think a very high percentage of any river calls you get will be from passively played Js and Ts. Three way you won't get called by A high all that often, and there aren't enough pocket pairs below 8 to expect you'll usually be ahead when called.

So this hand gets the d-bag seal of approval.

It turned out that the SB held T7. I immediately regretted not betting the river; he was probably hanging around for an eight, and would probably have given up his third pair on the river.

I would not be making this bet with the intent of folding any of the bigger pairs. A T was top pair on the flop; a J is top pair on the board by the turn. These are not hands that people will likely fold with basically no serious action.

Your 88 has a lot of showdown value. The hands that are beating you are very unlikely to fold. Show it down and expect to win about half the time.
