If you're willing to call one on the river why not lead it?
Otherwise I think the hand was pretty standard. |

If you're willing to call one on the river why not lead it? [/ QUOTE ] I see this said a lot without much more of a thought. Can you go further? If you are raised, then do you fold? If you're folding to a raise, then why not check/call for half the price to see if you DO have the best hand? Not doubting you or anyone else who has said it, I just don't understand the reasoning with a fairly weak hand like this. |

If you're folding to a raise, then why not check/call for half the price to see if you DO have the best hand? [/ QUOTE ] Betting out and then folding to a raise would cost you the same as a check-call. Betting out may force your opponents to fold when they see the K come off, and if they just call, it's no different than you checking and calling. If you're raised you can be pretty sure you're beat and lay it down. Hope that makes sense. BTW, I like leading the river. |

I think willi explained my reasoning fine so there it is. If you are unable to bring yourself to fold to a raise here then check/calling isn't bad either. |
