how do you break into a locked door?
My roomate is away for the weekend and he's got my maryjuana in his room and his door is locked. He has locked himself out before and was able to break in using a credit card and a spatula? Anyone know how to do this?

College dorm? Get a credit card you don't care about, run it down, at a 70 degree angle so that it just slides over the bottom lock. A butter knife can be used to apply pressure on the door (a wedge) so that if you manage to hit the sweet spot on the lock, the door will pop open. (Be careful of the knife flying out of the door).
Obviously this will not work if the door is deadbolted.

Im an expert.
Get a large knife, something that is wide, not a steak knife. Lean on the door fairly hard, so you can see the lock part. Stick the knife into the door jam part (behind the part that keeps the door closed/locked), and pry the lock open. The more shoulder you put lean into the door (constant pressure), the more you can see of the lock, the better you can judge where to pry.
