Default blind steal gone bad

I'm never sure what to do with these hands. I suspected that BB is on a semi-bluff, but wasn't sure enough to risk getting three bet.

BB is a tight and slightly aggressive player

Do you think the BB is betting out looking to 3-bet? Or betting out as a semi-resteal but will back off to your aggression?

I would probably raise the flop here. I think your two overcards, the situation, and backdoor str8 potential is enough to get aggressive.

Hands like these I either try to use my position and take control, or give it up. You have very little so folding this flop isnt to bad, but I do think there is more EV in raising it. The many times this player is on some sort of semibluff youll get a free card on the turn, or you can semibluff the turn yourself. If your 3-bet, you can be more sure your behind and not feel so bad about folding to a turn bet.

I think the turn fold is terrible. You just folded with an OESD plus an overcard plus a 9 that might be good plus your Ace high might be good. Heads up you have got to call down here, especially if he is slightly agressive.

Personally, I like the semi-bluff raise on the turn/flop if the guy is tight.
