If ______ city, USA disappeared tomorrow...
I've been discussing the following topic with some friends and decided to get the input of the board.
Tomorrow, you wake up and turn on the television to find out that ____ city, USA, a reasonably populated and reasonably modern city has been completely blown off the map by a nuclear weapon. The culprit is unknown, no one claims responsibility, but a website (whose origin is unknown or domestic) states that another city will disappear every week until the U.S. and its allies withdraw its hands from anything/everything (take your pick) in the rest of the world. Assume we can't figure out who has the nukes. At what point would we be humbled? Could we be humbled? What would the current administration do? What would you do? |

Re: If ______ city, USA disappeared tomorrow...
Since one of our major cities is in the process of disappearing right now, can we hold off on this thread for a bit?

Elaborate?
and bump... come on, I know you all have strong opinions... I want to hear about how we'll destroy all the towelheads, NK, or anyone else that could have possibly done it... or if you think our policies will change. |

Re: If ______ city, USA disappeared tomorrow...
I meant that an Act of God is causing one of our cities to disappear, and while I'm not flaming on you or anything, I am humbly requesting we hold off on this discussion for a bit.

In other words a win win situation. |

If they are on "my side" like the American's who died in the example then I would care a great deal, if they are not on my side, then I would care that I killed enough to for my side to win. |
