QQ in CO against a reraise by TAG on OTB
The villain in this hand is an adept TAG who had just taken a bad beat. His reraise on the button had me stumped as to his range. I have a tight image at this time so it seems like he might want to reraise with air to try and take control of the hand on the flop.
Should I have pushed on the reraise and what is my line after flop? I am sorry we had played with each other heads up on another table around ten minutes earlier. He plays TAG until pushbotting at the later rounds.

Re: QQ in CO against a reraise by TAG on OTB
Also reraise villain preflop and be prepared to go all in. You may get beat this time. But long term you will make a lot more $$$ than you lose pushing preflop with QQ at the $11s.
I'm dabbling on the $60s now and I still haven't folded QQ preflop yet. But I've been close a couple times, and I was right each time. Still not sure if I ever would fold it against only one opponent, unless I had a read on him as a mega-rock. |

Re: QQ in CO against a reraise by TAG on OTB
I asked the question sort of trying to get a read on the guy. You beat him HU 8 minutes ago, he just got sucked out on or beat. And there you are raising before him. He may be a very frusterated TAG. Where I would normally slow down a hand with QQ and a TAG - you still want to show the hand down IMO - in this case I'd put him more on a AK/AQ type hand than AA/KK. I say fire away.
