Default Moving all in with Kx

Assume this scenario :

toward the end of tournament. No ante, lets say blinds are 1000-2000

you are on button and everybody folds to you. Say you have Kx. Lets assume both blinds have you covered.

How shortstacked do you need to be to go all in. If you are very shortstacked, I assume that is the correct move, and if you have lots of chips, it would not be correct to do so. But where about is the threshold ?

Opinions will be most appreciated.
