Default Las Vegas live games question

I'm going to be in Las Vegas over New Year's. I was wondering if anyone who has played around in Vegas could tell me which limits/casinos most closely resemble Party $1/2. I suppose I could watch for a while, but I would rather a short-cut. Suggestions?

There is alot of truth to what Photoc says, but having just returned from five days of poker, I would add a few details. The one trend I notice each time I go to Vegas is that limit players keep getting worse, not better(my sample isn't huge, 2-3 poker trips a year since 2000).

One of the guys with me on the trip had never played in a B&M before, only online, at Party. Conventional wisdom (here and elsewhere) seems to suggest that .50-$1 online plays like $4-8 in B&M. My recent experience and my buds time at the tables, suggests that might not be correct - the $4-8 was much crazier/easier than .50-$1 online.

Indeed, if you play on a weekend or late at night in Vegas, you are likely to find $15-30 games that are comparable to lower limit online games, like $1-2 or $2-4.
