Re: Bottom set lots of agression
Any read on BB? Any insight as to what YOU were thinking while you were playing?
In a vacuum of information I worry that BB checked a 54, and I call down after the flop 3-bet. |

Not too much of a read I guess my hope was that he had landed 2 pair from the blind

[ QUOTE ]
In a vacuum of information I worry that BB checked a 54, and I call down after the flop 3-bet. [/ QUOTE ] In my opinion, this is monsters-under-the-bed thinking. Many typical villains would 3-bet any overpair or 2-pair on the flop, as well as a higher set or straight. I would probably slow down after the turn 3-bet. The one exception is if I think villain would back off if the flop is capped. Then I might be tempted to smooth-call and raise the turn for the extra BB. |
