Re: Another hand agaisnt Mr. Lagtardo
While it is tempting to 3-bet the turn, I doubt I'd do it in practice. Seems like a crapshoot, calling down and 3-betting don't seem all that different here in the long run. You know this player's tendancies better than we do. Will villain pull off the double check-raise with moderate holdings?

Re: Another hand agaisnt Mr. Lagtardo
i might do either.
the double-check-raise just smells of 'scare tactic' to me. But I probably just call-down. I'm guessing he has a worse-ace than you. |

Re: Another hand agaisnt Mr. Lagtardo
Bob I've seen this guy before. He's got KQo there every time. If there was no cap I'd go infinite bets with him. If a jack comes though fold.
jk, seriously though i would call this turn. no sense in reraising and letting him fold his hand imo. only question then is whether to raise the river or not. depends on how laggy is really is. if that 8 aggression is from a substantial amount of hands like 1k+ i would cap the turn and cap the river. |
