Your play looks good to me. I'm sure that there will be some replies that advise smooth call and then raise in the turn, but I like your play better.

Dont you think the overcall just screams set??
Id much rather raise, if my hand is pretty clear anyway. |

Re: 5/10 hand, 2nd set, 3 way action
I push... i'd much rather see the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] turn up after all the moneys in the pot rather than have the ability to second guess myself. Can't get too greedy.
Sets are big payoff hands, but with multiple players in you can never be sure. I'm not saying you would have been beaten, as this flop is pretty ideal if you can get all the money in the pot, but I think you should push and be happy with your takedown even if everyone folds. I take it unless he rivered tripp Aces on you this was a nice takedown. |

BB will likely be folding most anything here after you smooth call...push is the only play really.

Re: 5/10 hand, 2nd set, 3 way action
yeah thats basically what I thought to.
How many here lead this flop as opposed to c/r it. I would think leading is the far superior play. |
