Missing Value? A9o
MP2 has gotten lucky and built a big stack. He's loose and makes bluffs at the wrong time. I am trying to see a lot of flops with him. I checked behind twice because I couldn't imagine what hands would call turn or river bets that I beat. Also didn't want to give him a chance to bluff me off the best hand. I'm wondering if I missed value?

Re: Missing Value? A9o
Bet the turn. If not, bet the river. If the Q's helped him, he won't check them twice. Nor will he go for a river value checkraise after you slow down on the turn.

Re: Missing Value? A9o
I'd bet turn, check river. 2 draws out on the flop, and he's playing like some donks like to play draws (beting small then calling raise, then check)

Re: Missing Value? A9o
What do you do if you bet turn and he calls? What if he leads the river?
What if he check raises you on the turn? |

Re: Missing Value? A9o
A check-raise on the turn makes little sense... but I'd probably call it unless it was big (people generally raise way too small) since you are in position to take a free showdown on the river, or reevaluate if he bets again.
If he leads another Q river for a big bet I'd have to fold, but it is probably as scary for you as it is for him |
