Folding an overpair (QQ) against mouse
Villian is 16/2/0 (40 hands)
Good or bad lay down? He could have TT or JJ himself. It's feel it 60/40 here. He could have limped AA too. the table was pretty aggresive. Re: Folding an overpair (QQ) against mouse
40 hands isnt really much to go by
what you have to realize is that if villain bets pot on the flop like that, and you flat call, the pot size on the turn is almost always going to be bigger than his stack (unless you are very deep, which rarely happens in full-ring ssnl) if you call the flop bet, i think you shouuld call the turn as well - you will probably see JJ/TT very often here, as i dont ever see AA/KK limp-calling pre-flop villain bets out pot on a raised pot, you call, he is pushing the turn 99% of the time - think ahead of time, on the flop, whether you are going to call his turn push, rather than waiting for the turn card to come before deciding |

if a weak tight passive leads into a flop that hard just fold and go to the next hand.

Re: Folding an overpair (QQ) against mouse
Agree 100%. I had the same line of reasoning after I timed out. I played really tired tonight, so I know I misplayed that. I mean it struck me odd that he's going to bet into a large field OOP into the PF raiser with full pot. I agree that I probably should have called, and expected a Tight/passive to slow play a set. Just a misplayed hand by me.
After 75 hands he was 14/1/0 |

Re: Folding an overpair (QQ) against mouse
I agree. I should have called. Like was said earlier, if I'm calling a full pot on the flop, I should call the turn push.
