Did I play this wrong?

I had just moved back to the table after a few hands at another table. I've reraised villian before and had him fold with odds to call. I raised 5xBB cause I really didnt want him to call. Did I overcommit, cause with half my stack in I was all in on the flop no matter what came up.

The converter is not showing that on the flop villian bet enough to put me all in.

I should also mention that I had been playing this for 4.5 hrs, 3500 started and there were 27 left.

Okay, let's start here. Your late in a tournament, where stealing happens all the time with the second best starting hand in poker...why don't you want him to call?

Maybe it's a psychological thing but my Ks seem to lose to A rag a lot. Typically, if the flop comes Axx, someone will bet, I'll raise and if they come back over the top I'm folding if they have a bigger stack then mine. I guess in short I didnt want him to call because any Ace and Im faced with a dilema. I probably shoulda raised less and seen the flop hoping to have an overpair huh?
