NL 5/10, effective stack $1k
MP limps, I limp in CO w/ 55. SB makes is $35 and MP calls, I call. The flop is A J 5r. All check to me and I bet the pot. SB calls, MP folds. The turn is a 7. I check here to give him the illusion of that I tried to steal the pot on the flop but gave up when he called. The river is a J. He bets $200 into a $290-flop, I push. |

Standard.
I think Harrington mentions this play in HOH2. |

I don't know if I like it all that much.... seems like Ax can get away easier now because all the sudden you might have three jacks. Congrats if AK or KK called your river allin.
Also calling river seems like a disaster... |

There are a lot of situations I like this line, this isn't one of them. Unless the SB raises out of the blinds a lot, it seems like you're either getting a fold on the river by a hand you beat, or you're getting called and losing.
I actually like this line a lot if you call the river instead. You may have successfully gotten extra money out of KK or QQ. |
