AKo stick around?
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
MP1 has been raising/3 betting nearly every hand since he sat down. Claiming he makes 100k a year playing cards and showing off with 1500$ at the table. No read on mp2. Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 3 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, MP1 caps, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls, Hero calls. Flop: (21 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) Hero checks, MP1 bets, MP2 raises, MP3 calls, Button folds, Hero folds, MP1 calls. I didn't put a lot of thought into this fold and forgot to look at the size of the pot. Should I have called 2 bets for my overs, or fold assuming someone hit trips? |

Re: AKo stick around?
We can't believe that MP2 cold-called with a 5, not just yet. The pot is huge and you have odds to draw.

Re: AKo stick around?
I think there's a good chance MP2 just has an overpair of some sort or a 6. Among other things, if he had a 5, he might just call the LAG's auto-bet and try to trap the field.
Anyway, I'd stay in. One unfortunate thing is that MP1 is here to gamble and might 3-bet, so the flop could get expensive. And if any of the MPs happen to have trips, we are drawing dead. But I'm not ready to give up yet. |
