Default Thanks from the MicroPoster - time for a new one!

So you may have noticed that this session's MicroPoster ... well ... sucked. The thing is, I don't play that poorly. I have a very healthy winrate through 15k hands at 0.5/1. If I played like the first 70 hands posted, I'd be getting killed.

I've known that I go on a sort of 'extended tilt' after a couple losing sessions. What I wasn't aware of until looking over some of these hands was just how horrible my play deteriorated to.

The hands posted were in the middle of a streak of about 2-3 weeks where my play was really bad. I remember reviewing hands and seeing a bad play or two, but I see now that they were worse mistakes than I'd imagined and occurring more frequently than I'd admitted to myself.

My suggestion to those who find themselves losing over an extended period of hands (>1k maybe) is to take a break. Don't attribute it all to variance. Analyze your play very carefully. Try to find someone else to anlayze your play or 'sweat' a session or two. Obviously, it isn't possible for all of you to have the entire 2+2 Micros go over your hands, but having other people point out mistakes makes them that much clearer.

So thanks to everyone. I truly appreciate it. My game has been back on track for quite a while - downswing over for now, at least. Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment. Many of you were kinder than you needed to be!

And with that, let's proceed. You know the drill. Pick a random number between 1 and 1000. The closest gets the honor. I'll check back tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10am CST to pick the "winner". Good luck!
