Has anyone noticed that UB adds a start menu item to the top of the start menu (above the divider above Accessories)? If I right-click on the menu item, I don't get a context menu to delete it. Also exploring the start menu (for all users or just myself) does not show the UB shortcut.
Anyone know how to get rid of this? So freakin' annoying. Or should I simply uninstall UB and not play there again. (I tried HijackThis also.) |

Thats odd, I just deleted mine with no problem. I just right clicked and selected delete.

On a similar note, how do I remove the links to UB, Party, etc. from the Tools menu in Internet Explorer?

What is Internet Explorer? Is that like Firefox?
On a serious note, I don't use I.E. but I dug around and found them in "manage addons" in the tools dropdown. You just click the name and deactivate, then restart I.E. Or better yet ignore all that and stop using I.E. |

FWIW I use Mozilla, but sometimes I need IE to do certain things. I don't see that option under the Tools menu in mine. It's not really a big deal, it's just irritating they put that crap there with no intuitive way to get rid of it.

Google for "HijackThis". It lets you remove that stuff from IE.

Weird. It went away after a reboot. I thought for sure this was something UB did (like the browser hijacks), but maybe just a start menu bug?
