Uninstall Party Poker, then do a search from the 'start' menu. A couple of files/folders should appear. Delete these. Reboot and do another search if you want to be thorough, though it might not be neccessary. That should 'clean' your computer.

That or spend 2 days pouring over every line of the registry. You're computer probably needs a good cleaning anyway...

No, if you want a clean computer you can reformat. I'm sure there's other ways, but I haven't found them yet Lots of dumb little registry keys and hidden stuff Party has put on your computer.

Just saying thats how I have been able to download Party and skins numerous times on one computer.
1) Uninstall Party
2) Search Party Poker---you will get some results from this search.
3) Delete those buggers, and you should be alright. At least that is how I have done it.

Plus, if for whatever reason you cannot get rid of Party, you can set up an account on another computer that hasn't had Party on it before, then you can play on it from any computer.

If you have an external hard drive (which we all should given the size of our PT databases and whatnot), you can just back up your entire system onto the external and reformat your internal. After that, reinstall Windows, install nothing else but Party, sign-up and then restore your system from the external HD.

Worked like a champ for me.

160GB externals can be had for around $100, and they are well worth it.

You dont need to do this. the new version of party doesnt have the 'bug' that prevents you from setting up a new account.

Sublime, that wasn't accurate for me. I downloaded Party on my PC after the split and I'm not able to set up an Empire account now.
