Default Big pot, but I think I\'m a chicken

OK...pretty loose table. A LOT of check raise action on almost every hand, players tryin to get tricky. I think I played this hand pretty well, but I want you to rate my turn (and possibly preflop) play.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, CO 3-bets, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

Flop: (19.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players)
UTG checks, UTG+2 checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, CO bets, Hero raises, UTG calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, CO calls.

*Not that great of a flop, but I'll take it. What got me here was UTG and UTG+2 calling 2 cold. I kept thinking they were going for the check raise setup with their queen.

Turn: (13.75 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG checks, MP2 checks, CO checks, Hero checks.

*I checked here for 2 reasons. (1) By checking I don't necessarily allow a card to come out that will improve anyones hand (most likely) and (2) I avoid any tricky check raise from the early position. What do you guys think?

River: (13.75 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG checks, MP2 checks, CO checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, MP2 calls, CO calls.

Final Pot: 16.75 BB

You've got to bet that turn.

Please bet that turn. Your reason #1 makes no sense. By checking you allow everyone a free look at the river which could help anyone.

so what would be a better play? Bet the turn and fold to a check raise?

Bet the turn, call a raise. Call one more bet on the river.

Bet the turn without hesitation. There are probably a ton of draws out there like J-T, K-T, K-J. People like to play these hands. Given that the flop is paired with a big card and there has been preflop raising, what do you think they called the flop with?
