I also play the 30s, and with no reads I'm going all in on this hand.
I assume the players are idiots until shown otherwise, especially on the first hand. |

I think if i have 8Q+ I agree, but I really don't want to lose to a 78 or similar at this point.

I'm thinkin check call mode after the turn. Kinda scared of the flush and there is nothing to say he doesn't have an 8 that outkicks yours.
If he has a monster, he may simply bet small to keep you in. I want a cheap showdown of this hand. |

Problem with that is him betting small on turn then big on river. Then again, when I bet, he could just call, then raise large on the river (though I'd probably check the river here then call a fairly small bet).
