Re: ($22) Value of Aces?
I get my chips in on the first two, I think you need chips to have some FE when the bubble comes around. I call w/AK because I have the inability to lay down big hands. But I still don't think its a leak here.
I'd fold the 3rd one because your hand isn't that strong and your not too desperate. I'm not sure about #4. edit: your not desperate at all in 3. |

Re: ($22) Value of Aces?
As a $22er, here is what i do.
A8s - Push it, you need chips and you're in the CO. AKo - You need to push this over his massive overbet. Usually this means either Ax or a small pair. At this point you should be excited to get into either situation. A2o - Fold. Don't raise into the chipleader without a real hand...if he knows what he's doing, he'll pop you back. A5s - This one is probably closer, because you're pushing into 3 bigger stacks, but im pushing it. If you've been too active, it might be a fold, but pushing can't be too much of a leak. ...if anyone feels like running ICM on these, i wouldnt mind seeing if I'm right our not. Hope this helps, Jason |
