I\'m gonna start posting some hands.
These may not be very interesting, so please spare me the insults if these are basics. I'm learning, and I already know I'm an idiot.
I was trying to mix it up a little preflop here. Was it really bad at that point (I'm not regularly doing this), or is it ok sometimes with UB deepstacks? How's the rest of my play? Bet a little bigger on flop, and eliminate the unforgivable follow up bluff on turn, given the check-call and the clubs hitting? Or should I simply never be raising this preflop, under any conditions? Just wanna know at what point I really screwed up. Thanks. $5.50 UB Turbo SNG Nine-handed Stacks range from t955 to t2945 Hero is in 3rd place with t1920 Blinds at 20/40 Hero is UTG with 7c7d Hero (t1920) raises to t120 Seven folds Big Blind (t1505) calls t120 Flop (t260 in pot): Ac Tc 8s BB checks Hero (t1800) bets t120 BB (t1385) calls t120 Turn (t500 in pot): Ac 10c 8s 4c BB checks Hero (t1680) bets t400 BB calls (t1265) calls t400 River (t1300 in pot): Ac 10c 8s 4c Kd BB goes all in for t865 Hero folds |

Re: I\'m gonna start posting some hands.
I hate betting the turn. He's already told you he's a got a hand he kinda likes. Why push it?

I agree. What about preflop? That unforgivable too?

Meh, I prefer to limp but I think raising is fine as long as you don't make terrible turn bets

Re: I\'m gonna start posting some hands.
i limp pre but raising isnt bad, switch it up sometimes c/r the flop sometimes check/call then lead out, find cool ways to play each hand itll make the game more fun and also help you learn how to read opponents better.
