Re: blind battle, 100NL
raise to $10. If I'm the villain I could very easily have the A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Your raise would look like top pair or two pair to me, and I might push. If I have two pair, I'm probably not giving you credit for the flopped flush just yet. Get the money in.

Re: blind battle, 100NL
Raise it up. If villain has a higher club you want to charge him. Plus, a lot of bad players wont think you have the flush if you raise. I do call sometimes, but usualyl raise.

Re: blind battle, 100NL
Make it $10 to go pre-flop (no joke). I have started to defend my blinds like crazy lately and I like the results. Keeps people off your back and gets you action when [censored] like this hits you in the face.
On the flop, I also raise. Blind wars are fun and a lot of the time people give that raise little credit. |

is this a raise everytime? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I think this is a raise everytime. If he doesn't have anything he doesn't have anything. Nothing you can do but raise and pray for him to have an overpair. Also, even when he folds, he will be thinking in the back of his head that you probably just stole that pot from him, and he will give you MORE action the next time around. |
