MLH turn raise hand AK
This one kind of bothered me. I know alot of examples in this section play different depending on who's the aggressor.
EP limps, you raise in MP with AKo, 2 mps call. 4 to the flop Flop: 9 7 3 r Checked to you, you bet, only 1 MP calls. Turn: A making a flush draw possible You bet and get raised. They say to fold. If this were a guy what would't raise with a lesser A, I agree. However, in todays game, many would raise with a turned A. If I had a lesser A, like AT or maybe AJ, I can maybe see an easier laydown. Thoughts? b |

Re: MLH turn raise hand AK
I too would probably fold in a late 90's mid-limit B+M game.

Re: MLH turn raise hand AK
Hi Bernie,
Of the 10 or so players I have met in my life that I would fold to in this situation, 4 are dead, 3 aren't far behind, and the rest need help going to the bathroom. |

I just think these days, it's more likely someone just spiked an A. True, it could be hitting their kicker with 2 pair. Someone waking up with a set kind of stands out as they likely wouldn't raise with less than AK or 2 pair here. I think it's very player dependent. Also, if it were multiway and not HU, I could see laying it down a little easier. b |
