Standard continuation bet of about 1/2 the pot based on no unusual play by yourself or villain.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I'm betting 1300 here and evaluating afterwards. You can get AK or AQ to fold, if you're behind, you will find out, and you don't want to give KQ a free shot at a draw. |

I usually punch for about 1500 here and check/fold the turn.

What is hero's line if he had only one caller preflop, makes the continuation bet and gets miniraised?

I'm with the guys who say its read dependant. I know that if I were one of the LP callers and saw that bet, I'd pop you back to represent the ten. If you're not afraid of that, I guess make the move at the pot....but w/two callers at a TT9 flop...I'd say this is check and fold land. Think of the hands they could have called with...especailly since so many guys love hands in the JT range....J9 (now you're reverse dominated)...a hand like KQo takes away your J as a card you can hit...any paint on the turn scares you. An ace could break you. I'm not sure I'd want to risk 1/4th my stack right here w/so little hope. Running AA or JJ is all that would make me warm and fuzzy about this hand. |

[/ QUOTE ] yea. i can see reason for cont. betting and not. im more worried about the mid pocket pairs here than the AKs and AQs. those might fold, but the PPs will puut up a fight i think but i really just replied to this to say thats a very nice avatar, especially when enlarged by viewing picture. well done, gavin |
