Please....Can I Call
No real reads as I've only been here a few, but no one seems to have gotten out of line.
Euro 10-20 5 handed UTG raises, next player CCs, folded to me in BB and I call with 88. Flop 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check, Utg bets, calls, I raise, UTG reraises, next guy calls two more, I call Turn 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, UTG checks, CC checks River 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet, Utg fold, CC now raises me and I... |

Re: Please....Can I Call
I insta-call. I have seen, and made, too many of these bets to fold here. It looks like an attempt to fold out another ace. The bettor figures that most of the time you call and split. Some of the time you fold and he gets the whole pot.
Of course you might lose, but you are good often enough here. |

Re: Please....Can I Call
Big pot, wierd action, unkown villain. Seeing showdown can't be that bad here (I don't know what the actual answer is). I would have donked the turn.

Re: Please....Can I Call
I think a call is completely fine here. He may be trying to get fancy with ace high or have 77 and think it's good. He may also just be trying to completely steal the pot.
I will many times bet out on the turn here, as the board is really draw heavy, and there's a HUGE chance that at least one of them (probably both) are on draws or overcards. As far as the river, I think bet/call is fine, although check/call could be ok if you are up against very aggro. players who could easily bluff hands they would never call with. |

Re: Please....Can I Call
10.5 BB in the pot, you only have to be right ~10% of the time and that's a donk bet if I've ever seen one after the in position check on the turn.
There's no logical explanation for the Cold Caller's actions. Most likely he doesn't have the straight because he's wailing away at ya on the river to a double-paired board. He doesn't have the boat because he checked in position on the turn. I think he's trying to bet you out since he figures you have the same hand. |

Re: Please....Can I Call
tremendously easy call.
Villain may simply have ace or king kicker and/or simply trying to bluff you out of the pot. Adam |

Re: Please....Can I Call
Of course you can as everyone else said. His line is too weird for a fold here. What the hell kind of hand is he representing besides one that wants you to fold .
