The situation i hate the most.
Party 1/2 6max.
MP is new to the table so i have no read on him. Folded to MP who raises, Hero 3bets in the co with J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] MP caps. Flop- K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] MP bets, Hero Folds. Standard fold vs an unknown?

nah this is generally a call down for me. this could Adxd or TT or something stupid i think. Just give it a whirl and if he donked a K make a note and move on.

[/ QUOTE ] What I am suggesting is...call the bet after the flop. That is as far as this problem goes. If the turn doesn't change the board signicantly, play for one more bet..but play passively. Call another bet on the river (assuming a similar board.) I can't see folding pocket Jacks when one overcard flops.
