Default Is there any way I can get away from this hand against maniac?

Villian is typical party donk maniac. 72/14/6
Note: Long pause on flop makes me quite suspicous. I 'felt' like he wasn't sure if he should bet or check into me. On the turn, I'm only ahead to KQ, AK, AhQ, KJh, draw, bluff and a set of dueces. Villian obviously has a wide range of hands. My poker buddies say it was inevitable and the hand is fine. What do you think? I want to lay the hand down on the turn. Convince me that's good/bad. I think that because u had already known him as a maniac that it would have been easier to suspect him as holding
25 or 37 suited hearts giving hime more of a chance of hitting a flush. His poor play is the reason he would play any suited hand against a raise. My instincts tell me he can't lay down anything suited to a raise. I hate these guys, so did he have the flush? not the straight right?

I think it's a love/hate relationship of course. Love them to call and chase, hate it when they hit. I'll post results in a bit. See if there's any discussion first.

I think it is fine. I hope your not advocating a turn fold to his mini-raise. The turn was a good card for you, a blank, and IMO, you should be pushing this turn in most spots.

An argument for checking the turn to fill up has its reasons, but I think betting this turn is my standard.

I can't get my money in fast enough here. BTW, I bet a bit more on the turn. Enough so that the money will go in on river no matter what falls.

Yes you can get away, wait and pick a better spot. Be patient the Maniac's money will always find its way back to you. Dont worry becasue you lose a hand to him just wait add him to your list and reep the rewards.....
