$140 bonus for 1000 hands of .25/.50 NL - Any better bonuses?
I'm looking at doing the 12,000 point bonus for Pokerroom at PSO. The PSO points plus the Pokerroom bonus will be worth about $140. I'm a .25/.50 NL player and figure it will take me about 1000 hands to clear.
Is there anything better out there right night for somebody with $100 or $200 to invest. Thanks for any help. |

I think you might want to recheck your math. Bonuses clear hella slow at Pokerroom, especially playing baby NL.

if you're only concerned about clearing PSO's obligation (400 points for 12,000 comp), then figure a typical hand at 25c/50c NL will rake about 25c (avg $5-7 pot) which is worth about 0.175 pokerroom points. so you will probably need between 2000-3000 total hands to clear PSO, and about $50-60 on cash on the site itself (depending on how much your initial deposit is and whether you decide to finish it all, since they don't give partial bonuses).

Not sure of the total hands you'll need but I'll tell you I played 1/2 FR Fixed Limit Hold'em and cleared the 400 points in around 1,400 hands.
The promotion should be worth at least $160 for you because you have to clear 400 points which is $40 in bonus money. Plus the 12,000 PSO points which are worth $120... But if you only want to clear the PSO promotion and leave; only deposit the $100 minimum to start and add more with a second deposit for bankroll security or multitabling ability. THat way you will clear the deposit bonus of $40 and have it credited to your account before heading out... |

Just an update for any other low $ players like me. Cleared 100 points in about 4 hrs of .10/.25 & .25/.50. Not bad.

Re: $140 bonus for 1000 hands of .25/.50 NL - Any better bonuses?
the problem with clearing a bonus in baby no limit 25cents is that the maximum rake is 50 cents which is great on big pots but not great for clearing a bonus since that means the max per hand is .14 points.
If I would be eligible for any pso promotions I would do party first and then poker rewards which is a prima site. I have cleared bonuses on four poker room skins at low limits and it took much longer than low limits on party or many prima sites. |
