Non-UK europeans only pay taxes on gamblings wins that are made outside of the EU (actually EEC).
The only Party skin I know of that is inside the EEC is Eurobet. How do you non-UK europeans do when you play more than 4 tables to not have to pay taxes? |

Party and Empire are actually inside the EC. Gibraltar is part of EC.

You think I can tell them, I make a living by playing Poker and they will tell me "Fine, keep it all." I just can't imagine. |

Sweden at least has a law that says that taxes have to be paid on gambling wins outside of Sweden.
EU on the other hand has a law that says that gambling wins within Europe are to be paid in and only in the country in which they have been won. This EU law overrides the swedish law. There is nothing Sweden can do about it. Great Britain has no gambling taxes. I gamble in Great Britain. I pay my gambling taxes in Great Britain. Great Britain has 0 % gambling taxes. I pay 0% gambling taxes. I'm not sure about how it is in Germany. Safest is not to tell your IRS of course. |

Just to make this clear: is Party Poker inside the EU or at least inside the EEC or whatever making it tax free in Sweden?? Anybody know for sure? I am going to send an email to PP and ask if they know.

I don't know for sure, nobody seem to do. I sent a similar email to Eurobet a while ago, and got back an answer that they "didn't know, you have to find out yourself". Strange thing that sites don't do more themselves to bring some light on to these matters. Eurobet, for one, would surely attract a substantial amount of new swedish players if they (correctly) could state that their legal company base is within the EU, and thus swedish players are not obliged to pay taxes in Sweden for their wins. If I were Eurobet, I'd go ahead and hire an expensive tax consultant to get this done once and for all. Go ahead and post the PP reply here. It should either be informative or funny (most likely funny). Adde |
