Was down to about 1900.

Get AA in mp.

UTG limps for 30.
I raise to 120.
Folded back to UTG who pushes all-in for 4000.
I call and my AA beats his KK.

I've heard of limp/re-raises UTG with AA before.
But the limp/all-in re-raise is kinda new on me.

Conceiveably, I guess an opponent could call this with AK or QQ.
Or maybe he's hoping an opponent would think it was AK so would be willing to 'gamble' with 88 or something.

But, for the most part, I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what the hell that guy was doing.

I'm at 4000 now.
Not bad considering how badly I played in this thing last week.

The Dublin event is on my birthday and I would LOVE to tell my GF that we have to cut our trip to Washington D.C. short because we're going to Ireland instead.

I'm out...because I suck at poker AND at getting lucky.

AK loses to KT on board of KTxTx.

Big stack raised JUST enough on the end to keep me from laying it down so I was down to about $1800.

Then at $1400 I get JJ on the button (blinds 50/100)...but SB has AA.

Quick and not too painful.
maybe i can get to Denmark or France in Jan or Feb.
(not ruling out the bahamas either...but that's not as high on my priority list).
