Please take a look at this
Just browsing through the 25 nl and pl games on party. Almost all of the avg. pots are higest on pl than nl. Why the disconnect from this game nearly no one talks about it or post hands about it or talk strategy. Is there something im missing??? Why do people choose nl over pl?

Re: Please take a look at this
More fish play NL. PL involves more skill, but NL is on TV.

Re: Please take a look at this
Building pots OOP is one of the biggest skills required to play PL. If you get AA UTG you cannot make a big enough raise to thin out the field. If the flop is draw heavy or monotone you probably cannot price out monster draws.
That's the first one I thought about. |

Re: Please take a look at this
From my experience it is much easier to build a big pot in PL than NL, since EVERYONE bets pot all the time, people seem to call it more.

Re: Please take a look at this
I would guess the avg pot size is bigger because people seem far more likely to bet pot in pl than in nl at small stakes. in nl 2/3 pot type bets are prbably more prevalent.
