First trip to Vegas tomorrow.
I'm heading to Vegas tomorrow for my second time but my first time playing poker. I've played live before(1/3limit and 1/2NL at turningstone) and been successful, although these games are a joke. Since my last trip to a casino, in February, my game has improved significantly.
For those of you who don't know me, I am a 4-tabler of 400NL rooms on party and have done fairly well. I was planning on playing the 2/5NL games and have heard several things. Bellagio: Average players MGM: Below-average players Aladdins: Below-average players Wynn: Above-average players I guess I'm wondering what games you guys recommend. The plan is play sober 2/5NL in the daytime(but am open to other suggestions) and move to 100max tables and milk the free drinks come 9:30/10:00. I'm going to have a bankroll of about 3.5K available but don't plan on going too deep into it(as I'm sure noone ever does). I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon so advice would be appreciated in the next 24 hours. I've enjoyed every other first-timers posts and look forward to posting my results when I get back(Monday night). Thanks, -Ace |

Re: First trip to Vegas tomorrow.
the bellagio 2/5 is a $200 buy in be prepared to get there early to get a decent stack and be willing to gamble
wynn 5/10 NL is uncapped which was awesome MGM is probably more like what you want, 100bb buy ins very weak players when i was there for 2/5 however id spend your time at the mirage playing 2/5 there was always alot of action and i love that room, same setup as MGM but no 5/10 |

Re: First trip to Vegas tomorrow.
Go to the Mirage 2/5 or the Palms 2/5, weakest 2/5 games when I was last out there, although the MGM wasn't open nor was the Wynn.
