Party 15/30 Turn Raise
Party 15/30 8-handed.
Hero is on the button with 88. Folded to hero, who raises. SB calls. BB 3-bets. I call, SB calls. Flop: J 9 4 two-tone. SB checks, BB bets, I call, SB calls. Turn: 6 offsuit SB checks, BB bets, I raise, SB calls, BB goes all-in for $13 more. Both of us call. River: 9 SB checks, I check ---------------------------------------------------- No reads on the opponents here. Should I have capped pre-flop? Folded the flop? Raised the flop? The reason for the turn raise was that I felt there was a good chance BB had just overcards, but after SB calls the flop, I figure him for probably 2nd pair, which I was hoping to move him off of on the turn. After he thinks for a long time and then calls 2 cold on the turn, I've pretty much given up. I call the last $13 raise by BB cause I'm getting odds for the 2-outer, plus the outside chance SB has a OESD or flush draw. Am I suffering from FPS here? Most of the time I probably fold this one on the flop but I felt like mixing it up this time. |
