My wife rules (OT, LC)
So I'm driving home from work, and I get a call from the wife. She says "Hey, I did something for you..." After several incorrect guesses on my part, she says "I entered you in the Stars 25K $10 Rebuy...and I have A9s in middle position, what should I do?"
I get home 5 minutes later and take over the game. 15K with 406 left...1K above average.

Im guessing you have to go to all of her family reunions without complaints if you take it down?
Great wife there btw. When I find a girl, I'll teach her poker on the first date and I will choose whether or not to stick to her depending on her potential [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] A wife good at poker, sweet...

Pretty cool.
I'd love to see a 2+2 significant other tourney. I'm constantly looking for ways to include my wife as my poker playing takes up a significant portion of my free time. It would also help to dispell some of her favorite notions such as: You played all day and didn't make a final table. I don't believe in top pair... I don't believe in pot odds... I don't believe in stealing...

I've been meaning to teach my girlfriend poker. It sadly is what i do most of the day, and i have nothing to talk to her about (concerning my day) because she has no idea what i'm talking about if i'm like "Deep stack touranments starting today ARENT PUMPED?"

I take chips and play heads up w/ her on vacations.(best way to learn)
She usually wins after an exchange that goes something like: "I don't believe you have anything, I call."

I taught my girlfriend how to play early on and she loves it. Doesn't go above 5/10 live or $5-$10 tourneys online but has read all the books and we talk about hands. It's also fun to watch her mess with dudes when we play live. She can pull off clueless hot girl pretty well until the dealer (it's always the dealer) feels the need to point out how often she folds.

whenever i make a mention of poker to my gf, she gets excited and mentions how she likes to watch celebrity poker(argh)
I'm pretty sure she doesn't know the kinda figures i throw around, she would probably be suprised and not believe me or something We'll see how it goes and she what happens, she wants me to teach her how to play though, with oreos, hahaha strip poker anyone?......i raise all in....
