It could be that this guy was a great HE player with a huge bankroll just screwing around in this PLO8 game. I can imagine someone like that experimenting based on the good chance that he would split the pot since he held all but one deuce.

Except it's not funny. If you had been playing the game for more than a week you would know this happens multiple times every day. Mundanety is not amusing.
