Best way to find a room in AC?

Hey all,

Just got the opportunity to take the wife to AC for one evening. What's the best way to find a room down there? It is extremely short notice ( like this saturday ). I will only get to play a bit of poker, but would like it to be close.

Any suggestions guys?

There are lots of places on Route 30 (White Horse Hwy.)heading into AC from the Parkway. I stayed at the Days Inn on a Friday night for $50. There are lots of places cheaper or fancier than that. Nothing seems booked this time of year even on weekends.

Obviously, there are a lot of big casino hotels, and you can probably get special prices there. I wouldn't recommend staying outside the big resorts in AC proper, as it is not the safest area.

priceline or if too scared, then expedia, orbitz, etc.
If you arent going to play 4-8 hours of poker then you won't get any special room rate

So, if I am able to fit in 4 hours of poker ( for arguements sake ) how do I go about finding these special rates?

Get a card from wherever you play and ask someone on the floor about room rates, they'll tell you what to do.
