Default 100/200, KK takes multiway heat

Settle an argument about Hero's play with KK. Any mistakes? Also, name the hands of the other players.

This was an observed hand: no reads except BB is solid, so the pre-flop cold call is a big deal.

I would expect to see KQ or AQ from BB. MP1 has AQ prolly with flush draw or 77 perhaps a weirdly played AA.

I think MP has AQ, and the BB has Qx of clubs.

BB = AQ, possibly A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
MP = looks like top or middle set to me, but I guess a flush draw with the Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] isn't out of the question. If he's too aggressive, I guess it could be an overplayed A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] too.

I think the BB has AcQc, and the MP1 guy has 77. I know these reads are way too precise in case anyone wants to nag me for not giving a proper range, just like to play the guessing game. As far as the way you played your KK, the only debatable street is the turn play, whether you should call, raise, or fold when the MP1 guy raises. This is a tough situation, The BB showed a tremendous about of strength on the flop and now the MP1 guy is raising the turn. Im not a fan of making big laydowns in large pots, but given this action I would have to believe that one of your opponents has you beat so I would fold the turn.

is it crazy to put BB on AA? I know he didn't cap pre-flop, but his post-flop play is conistent with Rockets....MP1...AQ clubs....maybe 77...hell, maaybe the hero walked into a monster and he's got QQ.

that's a tough one...I either fold or raise...might get a cheap showdown.

I'm thinking with this action, my Kings can't be good. But then, I've never played those limits, so what do I know?

boy....i don't know...i'm still thinking....the most likely hands for MP1 are AQ clubs, 77 or QQ...you're behind 2 of them...

I guess I'm leaning towards folding the turn if it's 2 bets to me. But like I said, in the 20-40 game I usually play (at a B&M), I'd probably raise it.

And I'm standing by my call of AA for the BB....although he could very well have AQ clubs, as well....
