stay in full or try short? (low content)
I have just got my act together in .5/1 full (took me a year or so!) and winning constantly and really enjoying it. But now they have added these 6 max tables and everybody is saying how good they are etc. and I wonder should I take a shot?
full and short are two "completely" different games and I fear I lose the touch to full games if I switch to short. And beside that, I think I will lose in short because I probably don't know how to be that loose. I have teached myself to be so tight. Of course I will try shorts before I move up in limits but now I have 200BB bankroll to .5/1. Should I stick with the games I know (full), increase my bankroll, and just before moving up to 1/2 play some .5/1 6max? |

dude. a 200 bb bankroll is way too small for 6 max. (hell it might be too small for a full game) build your roll more before going 6 max

200 is plenty for .5/1. At higher limits, you might want to pad a bit more though.

Re: stay in full or try short? (low content)
Is 300BB enough to 1/2 - 2/4 IF winning player?
If it's higher than 2/4, I guess 500BB or higher would be better? I tought that I play in .5/1 until I have $600 (=300BB) before moving to 1/2. Although I have thought of skipping that limit because everybody is saying that 2/4 is easier? Well anyway, I will stick to fulls and not play shorts until I have a proper br |

Generally, you push your marginal hands harder, and you have to blind steal/defend more often, are probably the larger adjustments. I would recommend say clearing a $100 bonus, and then dedicating maybe $50 to 2 tabling 6max .5/1 and seeing how you feel. If you bust, then you stop and come back to try it later. .5/1 and 1/2 6max are definitely very soft. As for full ring, 2/4 is not softer than 1/2. 3/6 is a rock garden. |

I don't have PT in this computer so I can't check the right number but something like 19 %. PF raising is about 7.5 (should be higher though)

Soft=Higher Variance. I would recommend almost 600BB to try to play shorthanded.
