Straight drawing hand analysis
Should I have capped the betting on the flop? since I did not reraise flop do I gain anything by reraising on the turn?

Final Pot: 11.25 BB Is this too aggressive? this guy was a total fish. played a lot of hands, and went a long ways with them. I normally don't play draws this way, but since I was up against this guy I thought I would play it aggressive on flop, when he called I slowed down. Re: Straight drawing hand analysis
IM no good at playing str8 draws, so here it goes.
Hand 1- i like it. Hand 2- I would prob just call the flop raise, u havent got enough people padding the pot to make a 3 bet or a cap profitable as far as i know. |

Re: Straight drawing hand analysis
hand 1: standard. you gain nothing by 3-betting the flop - the BB c/r indicates to me that you may already be drawing to a split. and, more importantly, you wont get a free card from it.
Hand 2: facing agression and not wanting to fold out UTG+1, coupled with the fact that you can c/r the turn if you hit your draw means that calling rather than 3-betting is better on the flop. standard turn, and I fold the river if he bets again. |
