Unless this guy is a maniac, you have to fold.
What do you think he was raising you with on 4th?
You can only call him down if you think he was raising with two pairs or just the sixes, obviously. And there’s no way in hell you can raise.
On the other hand, I sometimes play 1/2 when I’m drunk, so watch out

He indeed had only the trip 6s on 4th...At that point i was 80% to win and he said he was just "testing" me to see if i had the trip aces or not. Given the low quality of play, I can't really blame him. (See my other post where i have trip 10s vs. a guy raising with Aces up and can't figure if he has trip aces)

The sad irony is that he had my other ace and that i knew i was screwed after he made open sixes. I guess everyone makes quads once in awhile...I called him down out of sheer despair/hope/disbelief.

When the guy raises your open Aces on fourth, he "should" have trips. That means that you're drawing to one out on fifth and should fold. That said, a lot of $1/2 players don't do what they "should," and you have to ask yourself how much you trust this guy's playing ability. If you think he might raise fourth with two pair, which would be stupid of course, you can stay until the river and see if you fill up. In this case, you still have to fold the river without improvement. If he is capable of raising fourth without being able to beat your board, call him down and put him on your buddy list.

And if the game has a jackpot, you can always play for that.
