Default FFL Trade

50 Passing Yards = 1 point
20 Rushing/Receiving Yards = 1 point
Touchdown = 4 points
Int/Fumble = -2 points

Trade in Question:

Player A will give:

Fred Taylor
Donovan McNabb

Player B will give:

Shaun Alexander
Chad Pennington

Player A has Peyton Manning as a backup quarterback, so losing Donovan isn't going to put a dent in QB at all. Player B also has Ahman Green and Duce Staley as RB.

Is this much better for either player?

looks fair.

Some might argue that A is giving up too much to get Alexander, but A is obviously dealing from a position of strength and can afford to "overspend" to get a quality back.

Who does A have as his RB's at the moment and who does B have at the QB position?

If Player A is starting McNabb over Manning, then Player A should just forfeit right now and save themself a lot of time and energy.

As for the trade, it actually looks like a win/win for both players.

looks like the only loser in this trade is the rest of the league since these two teams both improve.

btw, how the fcuk did A end up with Manning and McNabb? Is this one of those Heads Up fantasy leagues? Who's his 3rd string, Culpepper?

Thanks for the replies guys.

Player A is my mother. She thought when I said you can have 2 QB's but only one starts, I meant you can start 2 QB's. She's adorable really. Therefore, she took Manning 2nd round and McNabb 3rd round, and has actually played McNabb early in the season when he was a monster but has given way now to Manning.

I'm Player B. While I agree that this trade would benefit me, my greatest fear is making her too strong. Her lineup is beastly already, and if she can get a stronger running back without giving up anything...I think she could run the table.

Then again, this trade could quite possibly make me the frontrunner for 2nd place. I dunno though, losing to my mother makes me want to throw up in my mouth.

Oh, for the record. My mother is in first place at 5-1 and I am tied with 3 people in second place at 4-2. If she was in last place I think this would be a no-brainer move. But once again, can I afford to let her get too strong. Thanks again.

Make the move that gives you the best shot, and don't worry about making someone else too good. It's not like you have to play against her every week. If you guys are the top two teams, you won't even face her till the superbowl, and then anything can happen.

Wait a minute, Team B has Ahman Green and Shaun Alexander? How did that happen? Is this a keeper league?
