LAA/CWS ALCS Game 1
I have no opinion on the moneyline yet, but I do love the OVER 8.5. That line is ridiculously low, in my opinion. Byrd has a good history against CWS for his career, but Byrd just flew overnight and warmed up in the pen last night. Contreras has been lit up by LAA historically, including this year. These two pitchers met earlier this year, final score 10-7. O/U for the last three is 2-1 for each. We don't know who the ump is for tonight, but I don't think it matters. I'm betting the Over.
Thoughts?

I really like the over 8.5 here and also Whitesox over 4.5 runs, total hits+runs+errors ovr 26.5.
I think a tired LAA pitching staff will lead to big numbers being put up by a rested sox team that has been hitting the ball really well in the playoffs so far. GL [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Does anyone think the public is overreacting to the whole Angels situation? +182 tonight on the Angels seems like it has value, doesn't it?

I made the same bet, White Sox -1.5 (-110).
I think at least in night one the LAA will get lit up. I was considering the over also but was worried that LAA wouldn't lend much run support to the number. I didn't know about the Angels history vs Contreras until Whipsaw mentioned it. Interesting, I might be leaning back to a little bet on the over also.
