Wow, I just threw $500 in here to appease my friend for a RAF bonus and their free $100. This is the worst, buggiest, slowest poker software I've ever encountered. I have no idea how their have so many games running at all limits and at all styles when I can't even stay connected to the software (Download or no Download) for 10 hands. Not to mention dissapearing action buttons during table announcements that sometimes do not clear until your time to act has passed.

Does anyone else have these problems there?
I'm already down most of the bonus in my scattered play there but not my principal. There was no info on how the bonus was cleared and it was put directly into my player account Casino style during the buyin. Anyone have details on this?

And I'm tired of card rooms accepting one form of payment and not disclosing they don't cash out the same way you bought in (PPATM)

At this point I'd rather just pull up stakes and delete this craphole program from my computer, any calming words or suggestions from the zoo?

Hmm...I think you'll really hate the clearing requirement for that bonus then. It's 20 times amount wagered. Yep Casino style. (Funny thing is the Casino portion of their software only requires 2x wager, but whatever). And as far as I understand it, you can't cash it out until you clear it. That's right. I tried to cash out before I had cleared the bonus, and I got a nasty e-mail from their Manager of Something-or-other, who said that if I didn't cancel my cash out request they would take the bonus back. So actually you can withdraw your original deposit, but if you want the bonus you have to wager 20 times the amount of the bonus.

I actually like Pacific Poker, though I agree that the software is terrible. But the games are nice and soft. In February I deposited $50 just for laughs, and after playing a few hands a popup box came on and said my bankroll has been credited with a $25 bonus. I have no idea why. But after clearing the bonus in 2 days, I had over $200 from playing at low limits (usually .50/1). The games were very loose and passive, with lots of people staying in to the river with garbage. Plenty of calling stations.

I agree. The games are good, but you have to put up with a lot of crap, mostly the very common disconnects.

Pacific has been a major target for DNS attacks as of late, I think that is what is causing the disconnects etc. Prior to about a month ago it was the most stable site that I have played on. Hopefully they will work thru this and get back to where they were.

Been there for months - I've had no problems at all. No bells or whistles but . . . . .

Not even that slow, just a lot of people in the games - that'll slow it down

Slow games and slow cashouts. Also, watch out for collusion. Do a search on Pacific and collusion. There have always been reports of collusion on Pacific. The latest case will show how they deal with it.
