Default Was this right? (still fairly noob)

Early part of a $5+1 tourney. Mostly wondering about my play on 4th street. Seat 4 had been pissing and moaning about terrible play, so I was pretty sure he'd fold. And raising a 4-flush has been pretty common so far.

Yea, fold third, this hand is terrible.

But since you stayed...

forth-I fold here too

fifth-I think you just got stuck having to bet 1 pair the whole way into a better hand, but thats wht you have to do since you got to this point.

sixth and seventh are standard

This hand shows how playing poor hands early not only loses you those chips you put in on those rounds, but it may force you to lose more on later rounds. A9Q can be costly.

Fold 3rd street. you have 2 callers in front of you, including an overcard that is a card you would want. This hand has no value except as a steal attempt but you probably cant steal here with all the limpers (plus you would have to actually raise, not call). As you say, it is early in the tournament. Why waste your chips?

3rd & 4th are horrrrible, and easy easy folds. If you're planning on playing Stud actively, get a book. Any book. And read about starting hands.

I know I'm only echoing what everybody else said, but it is important.
3rd:No reason to call this.
4th:Pot's too small to get involved.Forget it.

Ewwwwwww. Fold third. Fold fourth if you hit the wrong button on third. I'd check sixth. There's a pretty good chance that you're losing, and very little chance that you'll get him to fold.
