How do you wipe all traces of Absolute from your PC?
Using Windows XP.
I thought I'd erased it completely months ago, but when I reinstalled it today, I was surprised to see my account name and password still sitting there... |

Try clearing your cookies. If that doesnt work, you could restore your computer back to a point before the software was on it.

you probably need to go into your registry and clear all the ABsolute references.
Caution - Only do this if you know what you are doing. You could trash your operating system completely. |

You COULD reformat your hard drive if you really needed to.
Why would you need to do this though? |

Could it be possible that they log your IP? [/ QUOTE ] Nah, I've switched IPs since then. To the guy who asked me why I want to do this, it has to do with that which is unmentionable here >_> |
