Default Raymer WSOP bet

quick, on pinnacle, you can get +900 on Raymer NOT WINNING the WSOP.

edit: It says "2 way". not sure what that means.

Are you serious? How much did you bet? WHAT WHAT? +900? I'm so jealous. Can I buy that bet from you, I will take the odd @ -300.

i bet my limit.

i then got a phone call and two emails all explaining that the bet is cancelled.

i really figured that would happen, but had to take a chance.

a few months ago (january, i think), i was looking at pinnacles 'dynamic line display' for nba halfs. at one point, they had a game with an o/u of 59.5 (it was new orleans vs. somebody). i quickly bet my max on the over, and then later (like 30 seconds later) the line was 89.5. of course it went over 59.5, and they honored it.

so, i decided to go ahead and take a stab and maybe get lucky. looking back, maybe i should have bet much less, hope to avoid the attention...

Man, can they do that. They owe you 4500.

Looking the props on pinnacle, I like the field, Raymer over Matusow and Matusow over Ivey bets.

According to the your chip stack is your tournament equity, all the "____ will not win the WSOP" seem to be decent value. For example, you're laying -584 for Ivey to win (14.6% win to break even) when he has 8.2% of the chips. Ivey is good, but not THAT good. Simimlarly, betting against the big 3 (Ivey, Matusow, Raymer), you're laying -211 (32.1%) when they hold 21% of the chips.

All Sportsbook terms and conditions allow them to cancel a bet in the case of an obvious typographical error, etc. Anyone actually betting on that would know the line was way off (example would be the wrong team favored in a football game - typically the team favored would be obvious...if a 1-10 team is -10 against the division leader, it's an obvious error).
