Default BB river flush on paired board.......

I'm sure someone will comment on "needing to see where i'm at via a different flop or turn bet" but i was wondering about just what to do on the river if i take the line i did.......

Easy call, I'm betting the other player doesn't even see the running flush opportunity out on the board

i re-raise here - his limp from utg implies two high cards, a weak ace, or small/medium pair. his call on the flop either means: a. he thinks he's still got you beat (with k/q high or his pp), b. he's got trips with weak kicker, or c. he caught that eight somehow. unless he caught his boat with his pp or his weak kicker you've got him beat. there's no way he has the flush (unless he somehow has kc qc or something of the like) - a re-raise has to be +EV. but i could be wrong....i'm new!
